'Funky Fish' x 'Love is the Honey' Backgammon

Our roll-up backgammon boards are made using the offcuts of our dungaree fabric, and every board is one of a kind. Rolls up neatly, ready for a game wherever you land. Comes with dice and bottle lids or corks for pieces.

The story behind Funky Fish

Print number four, and an easy favourite of mine. Everyone loves a fish, and they've come back into fashion lately, but back when I made this in 2021 they weren't exactly trending. I just liked how wonky and wobbly a fish shape could get. Once again, the name's doing half the work; it's hard to say “Funky Fish” without smiling a little.

The story behind Love is the Honey

Named by one of my closest friends, Lettie, who runs her own flower business @happyflowersstudio and has an incredible eye for this kind of thing. I asked her what to call it, and she remembered a line she'd read somewhere in a poetry book, “love is the honey,” and it just fit.

Design-wise, this one started with colour: pink and red, pink and orange, combinations I just can't get enough of. Then the checkers: I've been obsessed with them since I was tiny, grew up in checkered Vans, and I'll find any excuse to work them into a print.
