Relaxed-fit long dungarees in 100% cotton twill, with adjustable straps, front and bum pockets. The Shake & Snake print is a blue snake pattern.

The story behind this print

A blue snake print that started life as a poster design, not a fabric print at all. I liked how it looked enough to think it might work as a print too, and somewhere along the way it just became one, completely unplanned.

A note on the fabric

This batch of original cut dungarees feel a bit stiff straight out the bag. That's from an Itali dip coating we do after printing, which locks the ink in so your print stays bright for longer. Give them a couple of cold washes and they'll soften up :)

I love my blue dungee!

I love my blue dungee! I have five dungarees from Bambalam (one for each day of the week, obviously), and I love them all, but especially this one. the colours and pattern are gorgeous and the fit is just perfect. I am tall (176 cm) and slim, and 'medium' is just the right loose fit while still being flattering.
