‘Sun in the fun’ tote bag

This groovy tote bag is made using offcuts of our dungaree fabric.

The story behind this print

A classic, and one that still lives in my own wardrobe today. The suns are simple and calming on a beautiful natural fabric, and the whole thing was inspired by Cape Town in summer, that buzzing, beachy energy you can feel in the air the second the season turns. I wanted something that would land the same way anywhere in the world, since sun is about as universal as it gets.

The name is one of my favourite little mess-ups. I meant to play on “have fun in the sun,” jumbled it, and ended up with Sun in the Fun instead. I actually keep a running list on my phone of sayings I accidentally scramble; this print is basically one of them, immortalised.
